Cala Nova
This beach is unspoilt and rustic with a long, sweeping arc of golden sand with a backdrop of rugged red cliffs and pine clad hills. Perfect for the family, there are two fantastic restaurants we recommend. Atzaro Beach Club, which is the beach restaurant of the famous agrotourism hotel Atzaro and serves Mediterranean & seafood dishes and The Chiringuito, which offers a relaxing beach side atmospshere, great food and live music.
Babylon Beach Restaurant
One of our favourite restaurants on the island, Babylon Beach sits atop a cliff edge overlooking deep blue water and a sweeping bay, just north of Santa Eulalia. The restaurant offers two dining experiences, the cantina which offers the perfect setting for a low key lunch or dinner with pizzas, light meals and the restaurant, set in a more sophisticated ambiance, serving a wide selection of Mediterranean and seafood dishes.
Playa de Talamanca
Just 2km from Ibiza town, Playa de Talamanca is a long, curved beach creating an insular little paradise with soft sandy shelves and clear azure water which is perfect for families and young children. There are beach restaurants dotted all along the wooden boardwalk which stretches the length of the beach. Our favourites are The Harbour Club, which offers fresh seafood, sushi & sashimi in a contemporary ambiance & Sa Punta, which is located at the furthest point of Talamanca Bay. Beautiful locals, clued up visitors and the international jet-set rendezvous here for beautiful food, chilled out vibes in a truly magnificent setting.
Ibiza Town is the hub of the island in summer and you can take the water taxi from or to here throughout the season. If you're staying in the town and want to get away from it all why not jump on for an exhilerating ride to Formentera or round the island to one of the many beach bars and and secluded bays. Then we're here to speed you back at the end of the day for a nght out or some well earned rest.
Playa d’en bossa
Playa d’en bossa is the most popular stretch of beach on Ibiza. It is the longest beach on the island, with soft white sand and clear waters. The beach is lined with bars, beach clubs and restaurants and has seen a real resurgence over the last couple of years. If you fancy a real Ibiza club experience, then we recommend visiting Ushuaia which is the island’s leading outdoor club or choose from some fantastic beach restaurants such as Nassau or Sirocco.
Cala d’hort
Undoubtedly one of Ibiza’s more picturesque beaches with a long curving golden sandy beach which looks out to the iconic Es Vedra. Very popular in season with limited parking space so a great option to arrive by water taxi as opposed to by car. Our favourite restaurant here is restaurant Cala d’hort, which serves classic Spanish dishes and amazing fresh seafood.
Punta de Porroig
This bay is picture perfect with turquoise waters banked by rugged cliffs with some of the more prestigious houses dotted along the cliff’s edge. Perfect for swimming and snorkelling with one of the island’s leading beach restaurants, Es Xarcu, a Spanish owned restaurant famous for its seafood and local delicasies.
Cala Jondal
Cala Jondal doesn’t have a sandy stretch of beach so not one for those who love to bask in the sunshine. However, it does have two of the most popular restaurants on the island. Yemanja, which has been open for 30 years, and is an idyllic hotspot that has built its outstanding reputation on traditional Spanish cuisine and a family friendly ambiance. Blue Marlin is the most entertaining, avante-garde beachclub on Ibiza, combining Mediterranean fusion cuisine, great DJs, music and entertainment.
Playa es Cavallet
Es Cavallet is a beautiful stretch of white sand, with deep blue waters. Officially known as one of Ibiza’s nudist and gay friendly beaches, it appeals to a diverse and interesting crowd. There are two fantastic restaurants on the beach, El Chiringuito, which is a stunning restaurant, decked out in white with washed out wooden floorboards and offers a modern Mediterranean menu or La Escollera, which is a wonderful Spanish owned beach restaurant which offers a great choice of classic Spanish seafood and other Mediterranean dishes.
Playa Las Salinas
One of the better known beaches on Ibiza with a long curving expanse of sand with shallow turquoise waters lapping the soft, white sand. The beach is very popular and has some of the best beach restaurants on the island. Our favourites are The Jockey Club, which is a beach restaurant with the spirit of a chiringuito, serving fantastic Mediterranean cuisine and Sa Trinxa which offers a more low key dining experience with good music, healthy food and a stunning location at the end of the beach.
Es Palmador
Es Palmador is an island just north of Formentera which is owned by a wealthy Barcelona family but is open to the public. The best beach on the island is Playa de S’Alga and has shallow waters with pristine white beaches that attract many tourists in the Summer. Also worth a look are the coves of Cala de Bocs and the sa Torreta beach in the north west. And if you fancy a bit or R&R, soak yourself in the mud baths, revitalise your skin and wash it off in the warm sea waters.
Playa Illetes
Playa Illetes is the most stunning beach in the Balearics. Soft, white sand stretching as far as the eye can see with cystal clear, azure waters, giving the beach its famous Carribean vibe. If you want to go for lunch, there are several renowned beach restaurants, each with their own style and cuisine. Our favourites are Juan y Andrea, if you fancy treating yourself to the most amazing seafood dishes and fantastic wines or Tiburon, which has a more relaxed vibe and great food.
Playa de Mitjorn
Surrounded by rugged sand dunes and fragrant pine forests, with turquoise waters Playa de Mitjorn stretches as far as the eye can see with white sandy coves. There are several hotels dotted along the beach, the most famous being The Gecko Club, which is a 5* hotel but also great for a spot of lunch. For those looking for a more low key & atmospheric lunch, we recommend The Blue Bar.
